Day 8
Toady we were up early for Zip lining, this was a brilliant experienced the boys loved it. The Zip line was strected across the Whistler rain forest 200 feet above the ground!!!! reaching speeds of 60-80kn/h.
The boys then had some time to do some shopping/swimming pool etc. We will all be eating out tonight. Then we are off back to Vancouver tomorrow to play our final game against St Georges.

Day 5
Travelled this morning from Vancouver to Vancouver Island. We then played out second game against Cowichan rfc. The game wasn't the best due to terrible referee, but still the boys managed to win the game 28-26. The game was very scrappy and unentertaining due bizzare decision made by the referee. Nevermind wins a win.

Day 4
After an excellent win yeaterday the boys spent the day with their hosts, most of them went to Merolomas RFC to watch their seniors play. The boys got on brilliantly with their hosts and most of them couldn't believe the size of the houses they were staying in!!! or the hot tups in the garden.
Tonight we went to watch the BC Lions V Toronto agronauts, the lions won and due to the boys being up on the their feet dancing for the entire game, they got put on the JUMBO screen in the stadium!!!!! Out of the 30,000 people that were at the game we were definetly the loudest group there , the boys even invented new BC Lions chants, replacing the words Cardiff City in the chants with BC Lions, excellent night. Off to Vancouver Island tomorrow to play Cowichan RFC.

Day 3
Tonyrefail School 47-12 Merolamas
The boys had an absolutely cracking win today, a very physical game but played in an excellent spirit. The game was tough with plenty of big tackles and stunning rugby. Calum Thomas had a hatrick of tries, Ryan Evans and Joel Day also scored. But the try of the day was scored by Daniel Hoskinson, a 60m interception!!!!!
The boys now are spending a night with the hosts, both teams were mixing after the game and friendships were already starting to be formed.
An excellent day, the boys were a credit to school and parents, well done boys!

Day 1 22-20-08
Just to let you all know we have all arrived safely in Vancouver, we have spent the day trying to keep the boys busy and moving, not allowing them to go to sleep so get over the jet lag. We managed to little bit of training too. We are off ten pin bowling tonight and then early to bed, everyone is very tired!!!!
